I ordered from this company on December 4, 2008. I ordered a Hostess set and 2 45-piece sets of Godinger Calhoun silverware. The Hostess set arrived. The packing slip said the silverware was on backorder. So I waited and waited. Nothing ever came. I contacted the company through email and dealt with “**” the Customer Service Supervisor. He gave me a tracking number and said that my items had been shipped. I told him that I received the Hostess set but not the other 2 items. I told him they were on backorder and asked when I could expect them. He said he would check with the warehouse and get back with me.

When he got back to me, he gave me the same exact tracking number. This is when I began to get suspicious. The whole thing didn’t make sense. I felt like I was in a circular conversation. I was right back where I began. I explained again that the items were never shipped and even according to the details under the tracking number he gave me didn’t make sense. It said the weight of the items shipped was 2 pounds!

I said to him that that is proof as well that my items were never shipped! Two 45-piece sets of silverware and a Hostess set weighs well over 2 pounds!! Well, I continued to follow up with my order, or lack thereof, until January 28, 2009. I had finally had enough and realized that something was not quite right with this company. I too, tried calling the phone number.

No answer and mailbox full. I was not surprised at this point – just furious. I emailed him (**) one last time and told him that he had billed my credit card but did not deliver the items and that this was an illegal act. I told him that I would take legal action against the company and him personally if this matter was not resolved. My account was credited less than an hour later. I was worried that he didn’t follow through after stumbling upon this site.

I just double checked with my credit card company and the credit went through. Thank goodness! I can’t believe he has done this to so many other people. Maybe threatening to take legal action will help some of you get your money back. My purchase was for about $200.00. There was no way I was going to let that slide. I can’t believe that people would do such a thing! It makes me sick! Good luck on getting your money back!
